Fares u Ferneżiji

Wara l-preżentazzjonijiet bil-powerpoint jikkundannaw il-filosofija leminija ta' l-ANR li daru fil-kaxxi ta' l-ittri elettroniċi Maltin fil-jiem li għaddew, issa qiegħda ddur ittra elettronika oħra (li se nirriproduċiha hawn isfel) bil-ħsieb li tirribatti l-ħsibijiet liberali li daru max-Xibka.

Jinteressawni ċerti stqarrijiet li qegħdin isiru f'din l-ittra. Pereżempju: il-kunċett tal-multikulturaliżmu jhedded in-nazzjonalita' u s-sovranita' ta' Malta. Jekk hemm xiħaġa ovvja ħafna fil-poplu Malti huwa l-fatt li huwa poplu mħallat. L-ovvju jidher imqar fid-direttorju tan-numri tat-telefon; jidher ukoll fuq il-fattizzi tan-nies Maltin li ta' kuljum jidħlu bl-eluf fil-belt kapitali: bjondi, somor, twal, qosra, żnelli, ħoxnin ...; jinstema' fil-lingwaġġi użati (mhux il-lingwa, il-lingwaġġi) ...

Il-Maltin għandhom kultura u stil ħajja partikolari. Għadni nistenna lil xiħadd li lest jiddefinixxi liema hi l-kultura tagħna u liema hu l-istil ta' ħajja tagħna. Pajjiż li nħakem u nġarr bil-kultura globalizzanti - l-istess bħal ħafna u ħafna u ħafna pajjiżi oħra - diffiċli ssiblu l-kultura 'tiegħu', u iktar minhekk diffiċli tagħraflu l-istil tal-ħajja tiegħu. Trid tkun mijopiku biex ma tarax li minn żmien żemżem l-inħawi differenti tal-pajjiż għexu bi stili partikolari. Imqar immorru lura biss sa żmien l-Ordni biex ninnutaw li l-istil ta' ħajja li għexu n-nies tal-bliet madwar il-port kien totalment differenti minn dawk li għexu n-nies tal-kampanja. Nistgħu ngħidu li l-kampanjoli kienu aktar Maltin minn dawk ta' madwar il-port?

Aħna nafdaw f'Alla għax Alla huwa parti mill-kultura tagħna. M'għandi l-ebda dubju. Għalhekk inniżżluh f'dagħwa wara dagħwa wara dagħwa. Issa jekk dan Alla tal-kultura Maltija huwa l-istess wieħed li l-Lhud jemmnu li għażilhom bħala l-poplu tiegħu, u l-Misilmin jemmnu li bagħtilhom lil Mawmettu biex jurihom id-dawl, allura jkolli ngħid li anki Alla huwa multi-kulturali.

L-ittra elettronika li qed nirreferi għaliha tgħid hekk:

MALTA - The Right to Leave
>
>Our Country - YOU Have the right - the right to leave !

>
>IMMIGRANTS, NOT MALTESE, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave it. We are
tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks overseas and
the recent deluge of illegal immigrants, we have experienced a surge
in patriotism by the majority of Maltese.
>
>However, liberally minded Maltese small factions and NGOs (the
"politically correct" crowd) began complaining about the possibility
that our patriotism was offending others. Most Maltese are not against
immigration, nor do they hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a
better life by coming to Malta.
>
>However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to
>our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.
>
>This idea of Malta being a multicultural community serves only
>to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Maltese, we
>have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own
>lifestyle.
>
>This culture has been developed over centuries of strife, historic
struggles, trials
>and victories by those Maltese men and women who have sought THEIR
freedom over the ages.
>
>We speak MALTESE & ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese,
>Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part
>of our society, Learn the language!
>
>"In God We Trust" is our apt Christian motto. This is not some
Christian, right wing, political slogan. The adoption of such a motto
relies on the fact that our forefathers were Christian men and women,
with Christian principles, who fought hard for this nation's
foundation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly
appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends
you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new
home, Because God is part of our culture.
>
>If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like " A Fair Go",
then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this
planet.
>
>We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, And we
really don't care how you did things where you came from.
>
>This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow
you every opportunity to enjoy all this.
>
>But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our
Flag, motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage
of one other great Maltese freedom,
>
>"THE RIGHT TO LEAVE".
>
>If you aren't happy here then f#@* off! We didn't force you to come
>here. You happened to be here. So accept the country that accepted
YOU.
>Pretty easy really, when you think about it.
>
>I figure if we all keep passing this to our friends (and enemies) it
>will also, sooner or later get back to the complainers, lets all try,
please.
>
> No matter how many times you receive it... please forward it to all
>you know.

Milli jidher, gew mibdula mill-Kanadizi u mill-Awstraljani (talanqas jien dawk iz-zewg verzjonijiet iltqajt maghhom ukoll) u finalment il-Maltin.

L-unika paragrafi miktuba/mizjuda mill-Maltin huma l-ahhar tlieta.
